BSc(Hons) Multimedia Technology and Design

Today's creative industries often depend upon individuals who can combine technical skills with the ability to meet design challenges. Fields such as movie animation, multimedia production and website creation are all highly competitive and to succeed you need a good understanding of the underlying digital technologies as well as the necessary design skills. Our multidisciplinary Multimedia Technology and Design programme at Kent offers you the opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge in areas such as web design, DVD authoring, 3-D modelling, special effects and compositing.

Offer Levels

  • A/AS level 320 points (21 units) including BB at GCE A level or VCE A level.
  • BTEC National Diploma at DDM level.
  • IB 33 points
  • EB 78% overall
  • Additionally, students should have GCSE English Language and Mathematics to at least grade C.

Direct admission to Stage 2 of the programme is also available to suitably qualified students.
