Intelligent Interactions Research Group
Research projects in the Digital Arts have focused on arts-based community projects where we explore the potential of digital technologies to create new artistic and interactive experiences. We investigate the nature of the ‘organic process’ of artistic collaboration as well as reflect on pedagogic implications of such processes on student learning. We work with local museums and art galleries (e.g. Turner Contemporary, Powell-Cotton Museum) as well as national and international arts agencies and companies (Wayne McGregor & Random Dance, PanOptikum).
