EDA exhibits at Naidex 2017

A team from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts, involving Research Associates, Dr Michael Gillham and Mr Paul Oprea, exhibited at Naidex this week, demonstrating smart powered wheelchairs and assistive navigation technology, specifically related to the SANAS (Synergetic ADaptive Non-intrusive navigation assistance system for empowering the disabled, elderly and infirm powered wheelchair user) project. 

Naidex is the powerhouse event of the independent living and disability industries. Taking place over three days from 28th-30th March at the Birmingham NEC, Naidex features 8 zones specifically designed to cover all aspects of disability and impairment.
